The list of beneficiaries included UAE nationals and residents as part of the financial, foodstuff, and in-kind aids being provided for eligible people on a monthly basis.

H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said up to 2,508 families received regular financial assistance over the period from January 01 to March 31.

"Over Dh11,359,000 were spent on low-income people in the first three months of the year."

Up to 4,747 poor and low-income families received foodstuff and in-kind allowances over the same three months, he added.

"The beneficiaries originally came from 38 different nationalities, spanning locals, Arabs, Asians, and Africans."

Bin Zayed said Dar Al Ber Society spares no effort to help anyone in need for help across the country and abroad, and try hard to meet the assistance applications received on a daily basis.

“We are just following the same shinny track of the children of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan – God rest his soul in peace.”

The UAE prudent leadership, people, and officials have set an exemplary model in supporting charity entities in the country and collaborating with strategic partners for the benefit of low-income people, he underlined.

“Such endless contribution, which has been heightened with the help of UAE philanthropists, gives a boost to the charitable and humanitarian works of the Dar Al Ber Society locally and across the globe.”
