Information management system policy at Dar Al Ber Society
Scope:
This policy is applied to the Technical Services Department at Dar Al Ber Society in relation to operations, technology, software and technical support in the field of charitable, cultural and humanitarian work. Compliance with the laws issued by the United Arab Emirates related to this field will be monitored, training and awareness will be provided to the concerned human resources, an effective and efficient asset management system will be developed, appropriate procedures will be adopted for their application, and plans and controls will be put in place to ensure the quality of continuity. Providing services, availability and integration of information, and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of information for all customers.
Objectives:
- The senior management is committed to providing support and establishing a culture of ensuring the implementation and achievement of the objectives of this policy.
- Providing secure electronic services with creativity and distinction to customers in accordance with the information security system and international best practices.
- Ensuring the quality of the procedures followed to implement the system effectively and efficiently in a manner that preserves the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
- Granting the right of access to data and information to authorized persons inside and outside the association in accordance with the controls of the information security policy.
-Developing a plan for business continuity during crises and reviewing, updating and testing it to ensure its efficiency periodically in accordance with environmental changes internally and externally.
- Providing training and awareness to enable human resources to apply information security standards and adhere to laws and legislations.
