Dar Al Ber runs 48 projects in Egypt Dar Al Ber Society (DABS), dedicated to philanthropic work locally and abroad, has run a variety of 48 major charitable and humanitarian projects in Egypt to ease the suffering of indigent people there.Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, said the Society, in a bid to closely and directly follow up the developments of all its charity projects around the globe, has started field visits to these schemes in collaboration with partners worldwide. “Senior staff and specialists are being dispatched on a regular basis to meet with Dar Al Ber strategic partners across the globe to be updated about the developments of the philanthropic projects being carried out and their capability to manage these schemes.”The critical visits are also meant to check on the prices, specifications and designs of the ongoing and planned projects as initially proposed from the strategic partners abroad, and highlight the remarks and recommendations due, he added.“To that end, a delegation of the Society experts and specialists, led by Imran Mohammed Abdullah, Head of Charity Projects Sector, and including Abdulkareem Jaafar Al Hassan, manager of projects department, paid an 8-day visit to Dar Al Ber charity projects in Egypt.”Imran said they inspected 48 charity projects being done in Egypt, met with the beneficiary people there, and wrote down their feedback and needs. “The people were so happy about the charity projects accomplished there, and expressed their profound appreciation to the UAE leaders and people.” Meanwhile, the delegation visited some key projects there. “These included the new facilities of the ‘Islamic Charity Society’, such as the Orphans Section.”Later, the delegation visited the UAE embassy in Cairo, and briefed the diplomatic mission on the charity projects of Dar Al Ber Society being run for the benefit of low-income people there.
