Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society, as part of its social and cultural activities, is all set to distribute 109,000 booklets, CDs and brochures during the holy month of Ramadan this year. On top of these are 14,000 booklets on the genuine concepts and moderate teachings of Islam so that the public gets immunized against extreme ideologies and fanatic practices. These diverse pamphlets include 3,000 on ‘Authentic Zikr’, 2,000 on ‘Zakat Rulings’, 2,000 on ‘Qiyam or Late Night Prayers’ in Ramadan, 2,000 on ‘Fasting Rulings’, 2,000 on ‘Eid Ethics’, and 3,000 on ‘Worship in Ramadan’. The 37-year-old association is also to dispense 35,000 CDs of the ‘Holy Quran’, along with 10,000 CDs on ‘Fasting Fiqh’ or Jurisprudence, and 10,000 CDs on ‘Worships in Ramadan’. The Society, based in Dubai, is also to distribute 40,000 brochures on a select group of Duaa or supplications that are authentically derived from the Holy Quran and prophetic sayings.
