Dar Al Ber Society inaugurated a new mosque in Ajman, which was built at the expense of a donor from the UAE.

The opening of the Sheikha Khalfan Al Jallaf Mosque project, may Allah have mercy on her, in Al Rawda area in Ajman was attended by Youssef Abdullah Al Yateem, Assistant CEO of the Zakat and Community Services Sector at Dar Al Ber, along with a crowd of the Society's officials and employees, representatives of the office of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Ajman and a number of other parties.

Youssef Al-Yateem explained that the mosque extends over an area of 4,843 square feet, while the capacity of the mosque is estimated at 450 worshipers, the women’s prayer hall accommodates 50 worshipers. He stressed the society's keenness to meet the needs of people in various regions of the UAE to build new mosques, in cooperation and coordination with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and the competent authorities and via donations of charitable people both citizens and residents.

Youssef Al-Yateem pointed out that the project is a ground-based main mosque building, which includes a prayer hall, a prayer room for women, a special building for ablution and toilets, as well as a residence for the Imam on the first floor.

Al-Yateem stressed that the construction and architecture of mosques, inside the UAE and in various countries of the world, has a special priority in the approach and philosophy of the Dar Al Ber Society, under the supervision and follow-up of the competent authorities in the country. This is done in light of the exceptional importance of mosques in the religion, and their central role is extremely important in worship and obligatory duties, for society’s education, awareness and guidance. All within the framework of state policy and the directives of our wise leadership.
