The Dar Al Ber Society and the Emirates Inventors Association signed a memorandum of understanding, at the Society's headquarters on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, that leads to the promotion of innovation and the scientific and creative dimensions of Emirati charitable work around the world. On behalf of Dar Al Ber in signing the agreement, was Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director, and representing 'Emirati Inventors', Ahmed Abdullah Mohammed Majan, Chairman of the Board.

Dr. Muhammad Al Muhairi said that the Dar Al Ber Society, which was founded in 1979, has a proactive vision, which is to create utilitarian works, in order to establish sustainability and global competitiveness, to provide charitable humanitarian services to the needy segments within the country and in many societies in the countries worldwide and to promote development and sustainability in the Emirates, and in areas less fortunate in development and prosperity in many regions of the world.

The agreement provides for sponsoring patents useful for charitable work, and benefiting from inventors in the Emirates, to think out of the box within the framework of the Society's projects, and to launch joint foreign trips, to identify challenges on the ground, take care of the Society’s orphans, train them, refine their skills and develop a sense of creativity and talents. This in the field of innovation and patents, and supporting the Dar Al Ber Society in the field of innovative endowment and coming up with new and effective ideas that serve larger societal groups at a lower cost.

The memorandum provided for cooperation in establishing platforms and events aimed at attracting support for the benefit of the Dar Al Ber Society and its humanitarian projects, as well as knowledge and research exchange between the two sides, and the adoption of innovative programs to qualify young people to achieve their inventions and innovations, serving society and the state in various sectors and facilitating patent registration with The Ministry of Economy, and cooperation in developing policies and procedures that support the preservation of intellectual property rights.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber, explained that the Society is looking forward to the memorandum benefiting from the ideas and visions of inventors in the country, to reduce the costs of its charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives, while implementing them with high quality, and harnessing new inventions to solve problems and challenges, which the Society faces in its charitable and humanitarian work, locally, regionally and globally.

Ahmed Majan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the 'UAE Inventors', pointed out that the Association is a public body concerned with voluntary work in the field of invention, and to provide all means that support inventors and innovators from the citizens and residents of the country, towards highlighting their inventions and supporting their innovations in all fields.
