Dar Al Ber Society spent over 76 million dirhams during the year 2021, in support of orphans, their families and people of determination, who are sponsored by the Society and provided them with comprehensive care programs, financially, educationally, and socially, inside the UAE and in several countries around the world, in addition to covering the provision of aid directed to different humanitarian cases, and to the Eid clothing project, during the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of the Dar Al Ber Society, said: "The number of orphans sponsored by the Dar Al Ber Society, through the support and donations of its clients of donors and philanthropists, has reached 42,000, inside and outside the country, in 30 countries around the world.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhairi said that "Dar Al Ber allocated during the past year 72,669,413 million dirhams for orphans sponsorship projects in particular, and provided 1,335,123 million dirhams for the benefit of the families of orphans, as well as 292,902 thousand dirhams to the segment of orphans who are people of determination. The Society also paid 721,832 thousand dirhams for the project 'Eid clothing', which is designated for orphans and their families and is provided by Dar Al Ber for them before the two Eid's to bring joy and happiness to them.

The Dar Al Ber Society, according to its CEO, supported orphanages in those countries with 1,052,113 million dirhams, during the same year, and provided various humanitarian aid to orphans and their families, covering health, education and housing, to a total value of 42,615,000 dirhams.

Dr. Al Muhairi indicated that the Society implements orphan sponsorship and care projects in a large number of countries in the world in cooperation with 42 specialized institutions and charitable organizations in those countries, from Dar Al Ber partners around the world, approved by the competent authorities, under the supervision of the UAE embassies and its consulates there.

Al Muhairi stressed that the Dar Al Ber Society has given special attention and exceptional care to orphans, since its inception 43 years ago, which has continued without interruption over the past decades, within the framework of its humanitarian programs and comprehensive and diverse charitable projects, directed at all categories and segments of the poor, afflicted, and those with limited income. All in compliance with the teachings and values of our religion, and an implementation of the country's policy and its approach in the humanitarian field, the vision and directives of our wise leadership, and an expression of the system of values, heritage and traditions of the people of the Emirates, who love to do good and help others and relieve the afflicted, the distressed and the weak wherever they are.
