pastingDubai Islamic Bank made a generous donation of 500,000 dirhams to the Dar Al Ber Society for the 'Winter Campaign', which the Society recently launched, with the aim of supporting refugee camps in Syria and Iraq, in facing the cold and providing the essentials needed for the winter season.

Dar Al Ber emphasized the humanitarian and charitable role and the social and national dimension of Dubai Islamic Bank, the strategic partner of the Society, and one of its biggest supporters, and is one of the charitable and humanitarian institutions and voluntary sectors in the country.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said: “The bank’s initiative, the leading institution in the banking sector in the UAE, the region and the world, constitutes great qualitative support for the 'Winter campaign' and has wide-ranging positive effects on the beneficiaries of the charitable humanitarian campaign. While contributing to the success of the campaign and achieving its goals, represented in providing relief to refugees in the two countries, alleviating the burdens of facing winter and cold, and providing their humanitarian and living needs during this season."

Dr. Al Muhairi stressed that the new relief campaign embodies, with national honesty and full transparency, the humanitarian policy and the broad charitable approach of the United Arab Emirates, and implements its vision, system of global human values, and directives of its wise leadership, which are based on tolerance, human brotherhood, love, moderation, peace, and spreading happiness.

Al-Muhairi referred to the continuous support of Dubai Islamic Bank to the Dar Al Ber Society over many years, and the bank's contribution to the success of its community initiatives, projects, charitable services and humanitarian campaigns, inside and outside the UAE, in vast areas and many countries worldwide.
