Dar Al Ber Society launched an urgent and intensive humanitarian relief campaign for the afflicted and affected areas, as a result of the violent earthquake, which struck large areas in Syria and Turkey.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, confirmed that the humanitarian campaign falls within the framework of the mother campaign of the UAE 'Bridges of Goodness', and comes in interaction with the initiatives of the wise leadership of the country to provide urgent aid to those affected by the natural disaster, and is an implementation of the country's policy and values, in the charitable and humanitarian sector, and in line with the system of values and traditions of the people of the UAE in doing good, and inherited through generations in helping others.

'An umbrella of goodness'
Dr. Al Muhairi indicated that the Society's campaign is launched under the umbrella and supervision of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, in light of the permanent cooperation and coordination between the department and the society, in a way that strengthens the charitable sector in the UAE, and consolidates the country's position on the map of global humanitarian work, and translates honestly and transparently its message and aims to support and meet the requirements of the needy, within the Emirates, and provide relief for the poor and afflicted around the world.

An open call for donations
The Dar Al Ber Society appealed to the community, in its various segments and fields, to actively participate in supporting the campaign, and to donate in favour of the victims and the affected, to attain the great reward for giving charity and relief to the afflicted and the needy, and by implementing Allah’s commands, the Almighty, in His Holy Book and the Sunnah of His Prophet (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him).

Several easy doors
Dr. Al Muhairi explained that Dar Al Ber has worked on facilitating and diversifying donation channels, and setting up several options for donation via SMS to allow families to donate different amounts, suitable for different segments of society, while any amount can be donated through the rest of the donation channels to facilitate for those wishing to donate and contribute to the relief of the victims, including children, patients, the elderly, people of determination and women.

The CEO of Dar Al Ber indicated that the donation channels for the victims within the framework of the Society's campaign and within the framework of 'Bridges of Goodness' are short text messages SMS to the following numbers, which include Etisalat and Du, 6380 to donate 1,000 dirhams, 6264 to 500 Dirhams, 6026 for 200 dirhams, 6027 for 100 dirhams, 2252 for donating 50 dirhams, 6025 for 20 dirhams, and 2289 for 10 dirhams.
