5 million dirhams collected by Dar Al Ber in the 'Compassion for Gaza' campaign

Dar Al Ber announced that it has collected more than 5 million dirhams, from local donors and benefactors, and supporters and partners from public and private sector institutions, for the 'Compassion for Gaza' campaign, which the UAE recently launched, in support of the Palestinian brothers from the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, stressed the vital humanitarian role of the Emirates in such difficult and sensitive regional and international crises and circumstances, and the state’s keenness to support their brothers and reduce their suffering, provide relief to the afflicted and needy, enhance its charitable role, and consolidate position on the map of global humanitarian work, pointing to the great and qualitative historical support provided by the UAE to the Palestinians in various vital sectors.
Food and medicine
Dr. Al Muhairi said that the donations received by Dar Al Ber within the national relief campaign, during the last phase, aim to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and focus on providing medicine and food to them, in line with the state’s policy and vision, and in immediate response to the directives of the wise leadership. In line with the values of the people of the Emirates in providing relief to the afflicted and extending helping hands and charity to the needy of various ethnic, cultural and religious identities.
Cooperation and coordination
Al Muhairi stressed that the humanitarian relief campaign, which was implemented by Dar Al Ber, complements the integrated national campaign of the UAE, and falls under its comprehensive umbrella, while it was carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent which will be responsible for transferring donations of the Society's campaign and delivering them to the afflicted and deserving people in the Gaza strip.
