Dar Al Ber Society has confirmed the intensification of its preparations for the upcoming month of Ramadan, through the annual Ramadan campaign, for the current year (1445 AH / 2024), which includes a group of sustainable charitable projects and pioneering qualitative initiatives, humanitarian, religious and community based. The Society will announce the Ramadan campaign during a press conference to be held in Dubai soon.

Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, explained that the Ramadan campaign covers the UAE and several countries in the world, as a implementation of the Society’s policy and approach to charitable, humanitarian, development and pioneering community work, under the umbrella of state policy and the vision and directives of our wise leadership.

He noted that all the committees charged with preparing for the blessed month are currently working at the quickest possible pace, to prepare for the Ramadan charitable campaign, and to present a new, exemplary version of Ramadan projects and initiatives this year, in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the religion in the month of Ramadan, meet the requirements of the needy and the poor during the holy month, and enhance the goals of Ramadan, a season of charitable and humanitarian work.

Over the course of 43 years

Dr Mohammed Al Muhairi said: "Dar Al Ber seeks to develop the campaign’s activities, advance its initiatives, enhance its performance, create qualitative ideas and new innovative initiatives, and expand to cover in its campaign and Ramadan initiatives to reach larger numbers of needy and limited-income people inside the country, and the poor and afflicted outside, and to add more successes and gains for the Ramadan campaign, which was launched annually for more than 45 years."

Integrated projects

Dr Al Muhairi pointed out that the Dar Al Ber Ramadan campaign seeks to implement charitable pioneering projects and various humanitarian initiatives, to cover various needs and Ramadan requirements, and includes projects to provide water, dig wells in countries and regions that suffer from drought, and hold iftar projects.

Throughout the days of the Holy Month, tens of thousands of fasting and needy people benefit from it, inside and outside the country, and the Eid Clothes project for children of poor families, sponsoring and caring for orphans, constructing mosques, supporting projects for productive families, promoting educational projects, and building centers for memorizing the Holy Quran.

Prospective Studies

Al Muhairi stated that these projects are in light of proactive studies, conducted by the relevant department, to determine the most important needs and sustainable development priorities of those countries and their poorest regions.

A Call to Generous People

Al Muhairi appealed to philanthropists and donors to contribute to supporting the campaign and season of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr this year, towards strengthening its humanitarian and charitable goals, extending a helping hand to the poor and needy, meeting their living and material needs, during the month, and including the largest possible number of people, and in line with legal procedures applied in the country, and governance standards, all of which Dar Al Ber is keen to adhere to.
