Dar Al Ber Society announced that its Al Ber Project for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an, the female sector, achieved 71 high positions in local competitions specialized in memorizing the Quran at the level of memorization centers in the UAE, during 2023. Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, pointed out that 526 female students from the Qur’an Project participated in Qur’an competitions in the Emirates last year, including 160 female citizens.

He explained that the Al Ber Project at the Dar Al Ber Society works within mechanisms and plans, and under the supervision of special teams, to develop female students and prepare them to win in Qur’an competitions, through specialized and distinguished staff in the field of memorizing, and experienced in competitions at the state level. The Al Ber Project extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the management and family of the Dar Al Ber Society, for its effective role, qualitative support, and sponsorship of the Holy Qur’an memorization initiatives in the country, through its continued support for the Qur’an Project.

Dr. Al Muhairi said that the list of awards won by the Al Ber Project for females in 2023 included three first places in the Sharjah Award for the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, two high places in the Sheikha Hind Award for the Holy Quran, and three first places in the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments Award in Abu Dhabi. And first place in the clear recitation competition for Surah Al-Fatihah, third place in the Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award, eight first places in the Ajman Holy Quran Award, and third place in the 'Most Beautiful Recitation' competition.

The high positions achieved by the Al Ber Project for females included 36 high positions in the Bilal Bin Rabah Center for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an competition, two high positions in the Holy Qur’an Competition for the Management of Islamic Institutions, a second place in the Ramadan Memorization Employee Competition in the Dubai Government, and five first places in the Competition for the Holy Quran for the Management of Islamic Institutions, Dibba Al-Hisn Association for Mothers, and eight first places in the Maktoum Centers Competition.
