Dar Al Ber Society handed over a total sum of over one million, 350 thousand dirhams, within the framework of its initiative, which has been ongoing over the past years ' Prisoner Relief', with the aim of releasing 36 prisoners, due to financial and debt issues, from the inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution at the Ajman Police General Headquarters, before the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
 
The amount was given by Yousef Al-Yateem, Assistant CEO of the Projects and Community Development Sector at Dar Al Ber Society, and Colonel Muhammad Mubarak Al-Ghafli, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Department at the Ajman Police General Command.

Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, stated that the Society implemented the community charitable initiative in cooperation and coordination with the General Command of Ajman Police, represented by the management of the Punitive and Correctional Institution, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the cooperation and efforts of the Emirate’s police, in order to achieve the goals of the initiative, and making it a success by relieving the distress of prisoners and their families, reuniting them and to spend the holy month together.

Youssef Al-Yateem pointed out the Society's continued support for inmates of penal and correctional institutions in the country, both citizens and residents, of many nationalities, as part of the ' Prisoner Relief' initiative, which was launched by Dar Al-Ber during the past years. He explained that the initiative comes specifically before the month of Ramadan, with the aim of ending the suffering of prisoners and their families, reuniting them in the blessed month, filling their hearts with happiness and contentment, bringing joy and pleasure to their homes, enhancing community solidarity, and consolidating the concept and reality of the 'Homeland of Happiness.' An implementation of state policy and the vision and directives of our wise leadership to spread happiness among all segments of society.

Al-Yateem, on behalf of Dar Al Ber, extended the Society’s deep thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the 'Prisoner’s Relief' initiative, most notably the Society’s clients, philanthropists and donors whose charity and generous donations contributed to bringing down the curtain on the suffering of the prisoners and their families and bring them together.
