A high-level delegation representing the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department Dubai, headed by Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Department, visited the Dar Al Ber Society yesterday (Thursday) at its headquarters on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

The department's delegation was received by Engineer Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Ber, Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of the Society, and members of the Board of Directors, in the presence of officials from both sides.

During the visit, the two parties discussed enhancing charitable work in the UAE, the prospects of the humanitarian sector in the country, joint work to consolidate sustainability in the important vital sector, and supporting the existing strategic partnership between the two sides.

This is implementation of the vision and directives of the wise leadership, in the highest national interest, and constituting support and added value for the benefit of the needy and those with limited income, within the country, and the poor, needy and afflicted in several regions around the world.

Khalfan Al Mazrouei confirmed that Dar Al Ber is keen to fully cooperate and coordinate with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai, towards enhancing the humanitarian and cultural mission and vision of the UAE, and achieving its charitable goals.

Dr. Mohammed Al Muhairi noted that the continuous partnership between the Department and the Society over the past decades, which has led to many successes in Emirati humanitarian work and support for a number of charitable and community projects.
