Dubai Islamic Bank made a generous donation of one million dirhams to the Dar Al Ber Society, for the 'Eid Baskets’ project, which will be distributed during the upcoming Eid Al Adha, to the needy and deserving, from limited-income families and various humanitarian cases of more than 8,000 cases within the country, who are registered on the Society's databases. The new donation from the bank joins an extended series of its initiatives and major contributions within the areas of kindness, charity, humanitarian work, and community development.

Dar Al Ber Society, which is implementing the initiative, extended its highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to Dubai Islamic Bank, for its broad and continuous support for charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives, which leads to providing the essential requirements for those in need, leading to the sustainability of charitable work within the Emirates.

Dar Al Ber, which is implementing the initiative, represented by its Board of Directors and all its employees, extended the highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to Dubai Islamic Bank, for its broad and continuous support for charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives, which led to providing essential requirements for those in need, leading to the sustainability of charitable work within the UAE.

Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber, confirmed: "The new initiative and the generous donation by Dubai Islamic Bank aim to provide the main food supplies to social cases deserving of support, and to share with the families and beneficiary cases the joy of Eid Al-Adha, and bring happiness and joy to their homes and hearts, during the days of Eid."

Dr Al Muhairi explained that the bank’s initiative, titled 'Eid Baskets', clearly reflects the strategic national partnership that has linked the Society and the bank over the past decades, as Dubai Islamic is one of the most important partners of Dar Al Ber within the framework of a partnership. Dedicated to doing good and extending a helping hand to the needy and those with limited income, consolidating sustainability, promoting social development, and strengthening the concepts of community solidarity and national unity, through the initiative of community institutions and affluent segments to support those with limited income.

Dr Al Muhairi pointed out that the new initiative 'Eid Al Adha Baskets' constitutes a continuation of Dubai Islamic Bank’s support for Dar Al Ber Society’s projects and represents one of the aspects of the sustainability of national charitable work and reflects the extent of the interest of the Bank and the Society in humanitarian projects within the UAE and the happiness of the local community. He mentioned that the distribution of baskets will start before Eid Al Adha, to enhance people’s preparation for Eid, and to make all deserving families and their children happy.
