Al Ber Project Achieves Three Quran Memorizers and Six Advanced Positions in the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Competition

Al Ber Project for Quran Memorization for males, affiliated with Dar Al Ber Society, has achieved three Quran memorizers and secured six advanced positions in the 26th session of The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Competition during the second quarter of 2024.

Dar Al Ber Society clarified that the students who completed the memorization of the Quran during the second quarter of 2024 include two students of Syrian nationality: Hassan Salim Al-Husaid, aged 47, and Mohammad Khalil Ibrahim, aged 14. The third student is of Yemeni nationality: Abdulrahman Abdulmalik, aged 22.

The Society also indicated that the students who achieved advanced positions in the 26th session of The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Competition are as follows: Taha Ali Hussein Ashour, who secured third place in the twenty Juz’ category; Eisa Mohammad Akram Zahed, who secured third place in the ten Juz’ category; Abdulhadi Anwar Faleel, who secured third place in the five Juz’ category; Sayed Al-Mukhtar Sayed Ahmed, who secured fifth place in the category of the book "Umdat Al-Ahkam" from Hadiths 1 to 294; Abdulrahim Sharif Hussein, who secured third place in the category of the book "Tanbeeh Al-Anam" explaining fifty Hadiths from the principles of Islam; and Mohammad Mahmoud Sayed Ahmed, who secured second place in the category of the book "Umdat Al-Ahkam" from Hadiths 1 to 165.

Dr. Mohammad Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said: "During the second quarter of 2024, Al Ber Project for males continues to achieve numerous accomplishments, with the total number of students in the project reaching 414, comprising 171 citizens and 243 residents. Additionally, five students participated in the 'Dubai Reciters' program to lead worshippers in Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers in mosques across the Emirate of Dubai during the blessed month of Ramadan. We also successfully organized an Umrah trip during the last ten days of Ramadan for 27 outstanding students from Al Ber Project for males.

He added, "The achievements and ranks attained by the students of Al Ber Project affirm the commitment of Dar Al Ber Society to enhancing the care for the Book of Allah Almighty and supporting its memorizers. It also underscores our effective role in contributing to the upbringing of the youth and successive generations of Emiratis and residents on our noble land, instilling in them the values and ethics of the Quran. This role is pivotal in reinforcing moderation, tolerance, education, behaviour rectification, combating deviant morals, negative behaviours, and social pests, and strengthening social solidarity and national cohesion
