Dar Al Ber Society has affirmed that World Humanitarian Day, observed annually on August 19, unites the global community in the pursuit of peace and the continued spirit of giving. This day renews the Society's commitment to the ongoing implementation of its charitable and humanitarian programs under the guidance of the wise leadership, which aims to extend a helping hand and mercy to the afflicted, the poor, the needy, the vulnerable, and the victims of wars, natural disasters, and various crises, regardless of the challenges and risks they face.
On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director, stated: "The world comes together to recognize the efforts of individuals and institutions for their humanitarian contributions to those in need, in all forms. On this day, we reflect on the principles established by the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, at the time of the Union's founding. These principles are upheld and given special attention by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may Allah protect him, ensuring that humanitarian work holds a special place in Emirati society, becoming a deeply rooted societal value and one of the pillars of the UAE community."
