Dar Al Ber Implements Over 13,000 Vital Projects

Dar Al Ber Society has announced the implementation of 13,964 vital, charitable, humanitarian, societal, and developmental projects during the second quarter of 2024. The total cost of these projects amounted to 39,115,556 AED, aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities benefiting from these humanitarian initiatives outside UAE.
Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society emphasized that the statistics from the second quarter of this year highlight the significant number of vital projects the society is diligently working on. These efforts are directed towards serving the poor, the needy, and disaster-stricken areas, particularly in underdeveloped regions worldwide. The society's initiatives are also aimed at enhancing humanitarian work. Currently, 4,424 projects have been completed during the second quarter, and the society is working on completing 9,540 projects in the upcoming phase. The projects have benefited 24 countries, with 28 accredited entities and partners of Dar Al Ber overseeing the implementation of these initiatives. The projects are carried out in coordination with the UAE embassies in the countries where Dar Al Ber conducts its humanitarian, service, and developmental projects, reflecting the UAE's charitable and cultural mission based on love, tolerance, and shared humanitarian cooperation, embodying the values of the Emirati people.
Dr. Al Muhairi stated that the list of charitable projects undertaken by Dar Al Ber Society during April, May, and June includes five strategic vital projects: the construction of mosques (1,050 projects), water provision projects (7,016 projects), support for productive families (2,066 projects), charitable endowment projects (1,859 projects), and medical projects (1,073 projects).
Dr. Al Muhairi affirmed that the Dar Al Ber Society continues its broad and well-recognized successes in the field of charitable and humanitarian work over the past phases and years. The Society remains steadfast in its enlightened philosophy and promising vision of helping others and extending a helping hand to those in need and low-income individuals. The society is committed to the concept and values of "social responsibility," which contributes to advancing the progress of Emirati charitable work, enhancing the country's achievements and successes in this vital sector, strengthening its leading position on the global humanitarian and relief map, and adding significant value to the UAE's esteemed reputation in the global strategic sector.
Al Muhairi also highlighted Dar Al Ber's dedication to fulfilling its full national commitments within the framework of charitable and humanitarian work inside the country, while balancing between local and international dimensions. He called on benefactors, philanthropists, donors, and public and private sector institutions to continue and intensify their support and donations, in alignment with the objectives of Emirati charitable work and the values of the UAE's people, which are centered around supporting the poor and needy, providing relief to the afflicted, and meeting the needs of low-income individuals.
