Dar Al Ber Society Launches Its 1446H Ramadan Campaign Under the Slogan "With Your Giving, Goodness is Completed

Dar Al Ber Society has announced the launch of an exceptional and extensive campaign for the holy month of Ramadan (1446H - 2025), commencing today, Wednesday, under the slogan "With Your Giving, Goodness is Completed". The campaign encompasses a diverse and comprehensive range of charitable projects and initiatives that will benefit individuals across the UAE and 21 countries worldwide, reaching approximately 1.7 million beneficiaries.
The Society has set a target of AED 190 million for the campaign’s total estimated costs. It is actively working to secure funding through donations and charitable contributions from philanthropists, UAE nationals, and residents, as well as public and private sector institutions. This initiative reflects the Society’s commitment to the principles of Islam and the values of Ramadan. It also aligns with the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership and the nation’s policies, which emphasize strengthening the role of the charitable and humanitarian sector in meeting the needs of the most vulnerable and ensuring sustainable support both locally and globally.
Mr. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, emphasized that the Ramadan campaign aspires to achieve ambitious humanitarian goals and high-impact charitable initiatives. The primary objective is to support underprivileged individuals and low-income families throughout the holy month, both within the UAE and internationally, by providing essential food supplies, financial assistance, and other necessities.
Ramadan Campaign Projects
Mr. Abdullah Al Falasi stated that the Ramadan campaign comprises 16 charitable initiatives and projects, including four seasonal projects, with a total estimated cost of AED 5.6 million within the UAE. These projects are set to benefit 244,700 individuals at a cost of AED 3.1 million, while approximately 1.4 million beneficiaries will receive support outside the country.
A Comprehensive Package
Providing further details, Mr. Al Falasi explained that Dar Al Ber’s seasonal Ramadan initiatives encompass several significant humanitarian projects. One of the most prominent is the "Iftar for Fasting Individuals" project, which will benefit 330,000 fasting individuals across the UAE at a cost of AED 3.5 million. Under this initiative, 11,000 daily meals will be distributed at 24 locations across Dubai, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah. Additionally, the campaign includes an Iftar project outside the UAE, which will provide meals to 1.1 million fasting individuals at a cost of AED 1 million, either through cooked meals or food baskets sufficient for an average of five people.
As part of the Zakat Al Fitr initiative, a project has been allocated within the UAE to benefit 10,000 families, at a cost of AED 1.2 million. Another Zakat Al Fitr project will be implemented abroad, supporting 291,015 beneficiaries at an estimated cost of AED 2 million.
Moreover, the "Eid Clothing" initiative will support 200 families within the UAE, with a budget of AED 160,000, while the campaign will also distribute Eid clothing outside the country to 25,788 beneficiaries at a cost of AED 190,000.
Furthermore, under its seasonal food basket program (Meer Ramadan), Dar Al Ber aims to distribute 1,500 food baskets to underprivileged families across the UAE, with a total value of AED 750,000. These baskets will contain essential food supplies or purchase vouchers.
These initiatives underscore Dar Al Ber’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the hardships of disadvantaged families and strengthen the spirit of social solidarity during the blessed month of Ramadan.
