Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has affirmed that the UAE exceeding the entire world in terms of foreign relief aids relative to its gross national income in 2016 is a reflection of the exemplary vision of the prudent leadership.
The UAE leaders, dedicated to philanthropic work, have always been there for anybody in need for help disregard their religions, languages, colours and ethnic backgrounds, the Society underlined in a statement.
“Such a remarkable achievement is the outcome of the government plans and polices, and the fruit of the relentless efforts of the UAE charity associations locally and abroad over long years.”
Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber, said the outstanding achievement is an added value to the UAE regional and international reputation and position.
“However, the exceptional accomplishment means a new challenge and a bigger responsibility for all the charity entities across the UAE to meet the vision of the leadership.”
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, said the UAE has a long honorable and shiny history in charitable, developmental and relief work across the world.
“This reflects the national identity and civilized mission of the country towards the world as instructed by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and as urged by the forefathers and current rulers of the country.”
The UAE tireless charitable and humanitarian work all over the globe has given a boost to the country pure image and position, he added. “Such commitment has been well received and appreciated by the whole world.”
