Dubai, UAE: The Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation has contributed Dh1 million to the Low-income Families Committee, a branch of Dar Al Ber Society in Umm Al Quwain, in support to its philanthropic projects and common objectives.

Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, Chairperson of the Foundation, handed over a cheque of the contribution to Ali Hassan Al-Asi, Manager of the Committee, in the presence of Mohamed Faruq, Executive Director of the Foundation.

Dr. Gurg said the annual contribution is in line with their cooperation with charity entities in the UAE to exchange expertise and meet the aspired targets. “This will also help achieve the objectives of the ‘Year of Giving’ drive initiated by the President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”

This deeply rooted culture of giving has been reinforced by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the country, and followed by the President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

It has been also been bolstered by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, all Rulers and Sheikhs of the country, and generous people.

“Dar Al Ber Society and the Low-income Families Committee in Umm Al Quwain are highly appreciated for their sincere effort in support to the charitable and humanitarian work.”

Ali Hassan Al-Asi extended his deep appreciation to the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Foundation and Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg for their relentless support to the activities of the Committee.

“Such commitment has ended in providing more relief aids to more low-income families and bringing them happiness,” he said while offering Dar Al Ber trophy to Dr. Raja, and commending her dedication to indigent and deprived people.
