Dubai, UAE: Dar Al Ber Society and the Media and Humanitarian Sciences College for Women at the Ajman University have run a special function to mark the Orphans day, entertain a number of orphans and bring them happiness.

The ‘Their pleasure is ours’ day is part of a special festivity co-run to give the orphans present a chance to play and have fun, according to Hussain Al Balochi, manager of Orphans and Families department at Dar Al Ber.

“We are so grateful to the Ajman University administration and students of the Media and Humanitarian Sciences College for their kind gesture and the good time they spent with our listed orphans.”

Dr. Mona Ali Abdurrahman, an Associate Professor at the Media and Humanitarian Sciences College and the Administrator of the event, said the students were so happy to chip in and show consideration to this important vulnerable segment of the society.

“The function is part of the college attempts to be an effective part of ‘Year of Giving’ initiative launched by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” she said, expressing sincere appreciation to Dar Al Ber for their effort to make the event a success.
