Emirates Islamic Bank contributes Dh500K to Dar Al Ber indigent families

Dubai, UAE: The Emirates Islamic Bank, for the second year in a row, has contributed Dh500,000 to the Low-income Families Committee in Umm Al Quwain in support to its philanthropic programs.
Ali Hassan Al Asi, Chairman of the Committee, which is a branch of Dar Al Ber Society, received a cheque of the contribution from Awatif Al Harmodi, General Manager of the Executive Department of the Emirates Islamic Bank.
“The contribution, in pursuance of the ‘Year of Giving’ initiative launched by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is part of our social responsibility to support the poor and needy,” Al Harmodi explained.
The Emirates Islamic Bank spares no effort to boost its partnership and cooperation with charity entities across the country and “cope with the charity drives being launched.”
Ali Hassan Al Asi paid tributes to the Emiratis Islamic Bank for their kind gesture and humanitarian support to the activities of the Low-income Families Committee and their fruitful cooperation.
“It’s an honour to express our deepest appreciation to the Emirates Islamic Bank for their dedication,” he said, presenting the Dar Al Ber trophy to Al Harmodi at the end of the function.
