Dubai, UAE: The Women Affairs Sector of Dar Al Ber Society has launched an array of religious, social, and cultural activities and events in the first three months of the year 2017.

On top of these were the ‘preaching’ courses meant to qualify beginner female students for preaching, as well as promoting the moderate and tolerant teachings of Islamic, and countering fanatic and extreme ideology.

Up to 45 Emirati and expatriate students participated in the courses which are in line with the directives of the prudent leadership, according to Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber.

“The Women Affairs Sector has also run a special program for upbringing children as leaders,” he said. “The course has been delivered by Sheikh Hamad Ateeq who enlightened the 88 participants about the latest trends in education and upbringing.”

The valuable course in Arabic has been recorded and is now available online for more people to learn from, he added. “The Women Affairs Sector has further run some WhatsApp-based courses on national loyalty, education, pure religion, and a study of Ibn Al Qayem book, which all saw the participation of 2,455 men and women worldwide.”

Asma Al Rais, head of the Women Affairs Sector, said 110 young and old females memorised some prophetic sayings and Azkar and studied some valuable books. “These help develop their religious awareness, and link their life with Sharia.”

The graduates have successfully participated in the Quran and Sunnah Award, she added. “Another course on the funeral rulings was held in the presence of 11 female staffers of Dubai municipality while Quran memorisation courses were attended by 73 women.”

Other courses on reciting the Quran and relevant sciences have been organised, she stated. “These saw the presence of 23 Quran teachers and memorisers who were passionate about improving their level and skills.”
