Dubai, UAE: Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has launched an all new humanitarian charity campaign, the first of its kind in the country, to mark the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day.

The promising drive, themed: ‘Thank you Zayed Giving’, is meant to hopefully collect contributions up to Dh10 million to treat 210 low-income patients with chronic diseases, according to Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman – DABS.

“Dar spares no effort to support charity works on the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day to ease the suffering of vulnerable people as always urged by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan whose white hands speak volume worldwide.”

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director - DABS, said the campaign will cover eligible patients across the country. “The drive will be supporting patients with chronic kidney failure, hepatitis, diabetes, and cancer,” he said. “Our target is to collect contributions up to Dh10 million.”

Al Falasi said they maximize their effort to boost community development across the country, develop the charity sector locally and abroad, and observe social responsibility.

“All this is meant to fulfil the health, life and financial needs of vulnerable people in collaboration with the bodies concerned in the country and the private sector as directive by the prudent leadership.”
