Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has contributed 6,530 Adahi or sacrificial animals, worth Dh2,019,465, to indigent and low-income people in 32 countries.

The leading charity association, based in Dubai, has also distributed Eid clothes to the children of vulnerable families worldwide as part of a bipartite charity project in line with the teachings of Islam.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, said the Adahi, including goats and sheep, stood at Dh2,019,465.

“Up to 48,555 people benefited from the Adahi project in comparison to 2,361 people who benefited from the ‘Eid Clothing’ scheme which was valued at Dh150,000.”

He added that the two-part project was successfully accomplished in collaboration with 46 entities and strategic partners abroad.

“The project is meant to bring happiness to poor families worldwide and meet the meat and clothing needs of vulnerable people in cooperation with strategic partners.”
