Dar Al Ber marks Tolerance Day

Dubai, UAE – Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) has affirmed that the UAE celebration of the (Tolerance Day) is an open message to the humanitarian consciousness and the entire world amidst the overwhelming disorders and sectarian violence.
This message, reflecting the values of this great nation and principles of its honourable people, is a sincere appeal for peace, safety, security and tranquility through love, coexistence, tolerance, and culture of variety, respect and acceptance of others.
Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber, said the exemplary vision of the UAE prudent leadership and outstanding policy of the county do boost the culture of tolerance, promote it all over the county, and impart it to the souls, hearts and minds of the people here.
“This message is based on the deep-rooted civilization, long history and heritage of the country where our forefathers adopted the spirit of tolerance and imparted it to us generation after generation over long decades.”
The UAE people have been known for this spirit and values, while tolerance is an integral and major part of the value, heritage, as well as the religious and heritage culture of the Emirati nationals.”
Al Mazrouie added that the UAE, as described by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is a country of tolerance.
“This tolerance is widely felt and lived by both UAE citizens and residents from all nationalities,” he said. “Over 200 nationalities are living and coexisting peacefully in this cosmopolitan country.”
They enjoy the culture of mutual compassion, respect, tolerance, coexistence, cooperation, hard work, and commitment under the umbrella of the UAE and its civilization, he underlined.
“They are setting an exemplary model of sustainable development and tolerance for the entire human civilization and peoples of the world.”
