Dubai, UAE – The ‘Al Mamzar Quran Memorisation Centre, of Dar Al Ber Society, has won the grant of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, after being gold rated in the annual assessment of Quran memorisation centres.

The ‘Quran Islamic Establishments Management’ competition is organised by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai for all Quran study centre in the emirate of Dubai every year.

Khalid Alolama, Manager of ‘Al Ber Quran Memorisation’ project of Dar Al Ber, received the certificate of ‘Golden Category’ and a trophy on behalf of the ‘Al Mamzar Quran Memorisation Centre’ – the female branch of ‘Al Ber Quran Memorisation project’, in a special ceremony at the Intercontinental Festival City Hotel Dubai.

The ‘Al Mamzar Quran Memorisation Centre’ came second in Quran memorisation as part of the second edition of the mandatory competition for Quran memorisation centres, he added.

“The ‘Al Mamzar Quran Memorisation Centre, along with 10 of its female students, and one student from the Nad Al Hamar Quran Memorisation Centre – both under Dar Al Ber, were recognised and honoured.”

The ‘Ahmad bin Salem Al Musa Quran Memorisation Centre’, of Dar Al Ber, managed to seize the second rank in the Quran memorisation competition, he stated.

“Up to 13 female students of Al Mamzar centre, and eight students of Nad Al Hamar centre, both under Dar Al Ber, competed in the Quran memorisation competition.”
