DUBAI, Dar Al Ber Society call upon the public to take today the 7th Neighbor Initiative, which, as per the Prophet Mohammed’s, pbuh, teaching is aimed at helping the needy and underprivileged neighbors and providing them with their needs.
The prizes of this initiative, as per the prophet’s promise, is that he who extended helping hand to his neighbors and refrain from harming them, will be rewarded with forgiveness from God. And as the teaching of the Prophet, pbuh, who said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not hurt his neighbors”. And he also said, “Who spent the night with full stomach and he is aware that his neighbor is starving to death, have never believed in me”.
The society also said that participation is open to all people taking in mind that the month of Ramadan is the month of giving and helping the needy people.
The charity said that it leave the door open for contributors to decide to which needy families they are interested in helping them, either in their neighborhoods or other communities. This is to help philanthropists to extend helping hands and financial assistants to the families they think are in dire need.
The initiative is dedicated for settling the debts of the needy families are groceries and supermarkets and providing each family with AED500 foodstuff basket in association with Dubai-based Al Ithad Cooperative Society.
